Looking...seeing...

I've been wandering the acre looking for inspiration...

...who would'a thought a milkweed leaf could be so fascinating...I spotted it from my window and zoomed in on this bit o' gorgeous color!

...and then I focused on a weathered door with the scratches from a long ago dog wanting to go outside...when I downloaded the pictures I was so happy to see this one!

I have a work in progress on my easel that I'm still thinking about what to do next...

...I love the middle part, the ends I have yet to fall in love with...the soup is on the stove simmering, my paints are within reach...I've done enough work on my manuscript for one day...tho' I keep going back to it...one more look...one more peek...one more change (weren't you done with this thing last weekend? WTF, lady!)...but the painting is calling me...maybe it was something I saw today...

It is wonderful what we see when we take the time to look at the little things.
I love your work..So much texture so so much.

Most people forego seeing beauty in objects that seem to disappear into the space around it, especially abstracts.

Nature has revealed to you a small portion of herself and enriched your visual interpretation of the space around you.

Enjoy the day.

What outrageous greens...so beautiful! Inspired by the simplest slice of nature.

The top three photos could almost be an aerial view of farmlands, all present there in a grouping of leaves, how wonderful.

You really are a texture artist-- it is so dominant in your work.

I am so inspired by your images and so happy to see someone else that takes pictures of odd things just for the textures and colors in them. I found my self taking several pictures of a polished cement outdoor bathroom floor because of the incredible siennas and greens that were created by the copper fixtures and iron in the water evidently. unfortunately the photo were disappointing when I got home but I really thought people would think I was a complete nut if they knew how disappointed I was that my bathroom floor pictures didn't turn out! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
